"Puffin Ballerina" - although Puffins can fly quite fast once airborne, takeoffs are seriously awkward. They need to "run on water" quite a ways before they achieve enough speed & lift. Swimming & diving for fish are their real specialty. We spotted this group of Tufted Puffins on an island in Glacier Bay, Alaska.
